I'm betting that Jim Tynan could still kick you butt. Were your ears ringing last night? Got together with John, Ed, Bob, Larry; Doran, Dave, and Jack last night and your name came up. I have tried to contact you over the years but have not received a response. Glad to see you're doing what you love to do. I'm back in NY doing what I love to do best. How about getting together one of these days??

Mr. Spindel how are you doing? I do not know if you remember me but you trained me back in 2004 to 2005 for baseball season and I introduced you to Steven Williams. I am excited to see this website is progressing which tells me everything is going well. I would love to meet you one day to catch up or stop by your academy and check it out. I want to keep you up to date on my life so far. I now have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and currently working at Equinox in West Village which is located on West 12th Street and Greenwich ave. In the spring I will be enrolling at William Paterson for a Post Baccalaureate program in Pre-Med because I want to be an Orthopedic. I want to combine fitness and medicine and see where it takes me. I look forward to hear from you and hope we can meet one day.

Carlos, I just viewed your site and think it's a great reflection of your personality. That's good. I am actually transcribing Matts personal nutrition and will post it shortly. I learned a lot from this guy, J C Santana in Boca Raton and his gym is called The institute of human performance. Stay tuned for more. Spin

Carlos, of course I remember you, AKA "superman" and you also took second place in your very first submission tournament. Glad to hear you are inspired and became a personal trainer. It's a great life. Matt Ruskin is also a personal trainer in between his fighting and training. I will check out your site. My nick name is Spin. Lol

good evening Mr. Spindel , im not sure if you remember me i graduated the year after jose Jimenes, and the same year as mario Lopez . I am grateful to have had you as a coach and teacher as well, with your dedication to the grappling team You inspired me to become a personal trainer, im also now applying for the FDNY. I noticed that you recently redid your site it looks awesome, on the old site you had all the nutrition information posted up. I was wondering if you could share that information with me , i would love to use it with myself as well as my clients. thanks for your time, hope all is well.
-Carlos Delgado

Robert, a typical MMA fighter or submission wrestler comes in 15-20 pounds over their competition weight. We call this the training weight or walking around weight. If they have a good nutritionist, a good conditioning coach, they can intelligently and safely cut weight in 6 weeks. I will be posting a few fighters actual diet that allowed them to conservatively loose those 15-20 pounds and have a 6 pack. The average age of today's MMA fighter ranges from 25 years to 35 years old.
