Returning Disabled Veterans 16 Week Intro to BJJ
General Goals: To succeed at home by restoring their sense of self, family, and hope through the training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. (BJJ)
*To develop basic skills in BJJ to remind yourself of your inner strength.
*To develop personal satisfaction by training BJJ with success in your challenges.
*To learn a greater sense of self-esteem and become Euphoric with a natural feeling of intense excitement and happiness.
*Learn to buffer your emotions for split second so you can pause and take break.
*To learn important health benefits and it’s application, for improvement in mental and physical health by laughing and leave each time with a new skill.
*This has less to do with BJJ and more of an opportunity to have an emotional and physical resurrection.
*Gives you the intensity when you need it and calms you down when you don’t need it.
*To develop an increased physical fitness state, as a value of special BJJ movement skills.
*To develop spiritual awareness for heightened enjoyment and social interaction.
*To be able to exercise independently and make use of your time.
*To teach community.
